"Baseball has been on
the shelf at our house for many months now, as football and basketball seasons made their annual appearance. With snow falling
heavily outside and baseball tryouts only weeks away my son and I popped the newly arrived Offensive Edge DVD into the machine
and cranked up the stove. The drills Rick presents are just the ticket to shake off the winter cobwebs. The review
on stance kept us from just running to the basement and doing soft toss like we so often do. We then forced ourselves
to stay on the couch for the whole DVD (sounds funny in an atheletic setting!) before picking up a bat. The drills were
very understandable so my son was able to emulate them immediately. 3 days later he went to an organized training session
and felt that he was swinging in midseason form. He has always been a good "contact hitter", very few Ks, but lacked
the punch to elevate his game. The drills on Offensive Edge have him using his body much more effectively and I think
there will be a good payoff come spring."
